SURVEY ON THE ISSUE OF REUNION WITH BIRTH FAMILY

My name is Claire Palmiste, and I am a French PHD candidate researching on the experience of Native American adults who have reunited with their birth families after being adopted by white families. I would be thankful to have your opinion, experience and guidance on some issues related to Native adoptees' reunion with their birth families . Your participation into this research will help me to better understand this unique experience, namely the elements that trigger the search, the symbolic meaning of the reunion, and your present involvement in your birth community. All information will be reported anonymously.

I am myself from African origins and have been adopted by my grandparents.
